1989 |
Whitespace Computers formed. |
2005 |
Buy-out of Whitespace Computers to form Whitespace Waste Software Ltd. Disposal of non-core assets. Decision taken to focus solely on providing software to Local Authorities and their contractors. |
2006 |
Work begins on creating a fully web enabled software solution. |
2007 |
Whitespace opens a dedicated software development office in Portsmouth. Power Suite Disposal Product launched at the CIWM 2007 show. The first installation of Power Hub takes place at Suffolk County Council. |
2008 |
First installation of fully web enabled Power Suite product takes place. Abandoned Vehicles and Enforcement Modules lauched at the RWM 2008 show. TomTom Work & Whitespace Partnership Formed - Whitespace announced as preferred re-seller to the Local Authority market for mobile communications. WSWS acquires the Local Authority Assets of WasteManager Systems. Whitespace chosen to support the Greater Manchester Waste Disposal Project - the largest in Europe. |
2009 |
Whitespace chosen by Verdant to support the South Oxford Contract. Power Suite PFI Management Module launched. Whitespace chosen by United Utilities to underpin the Derbyshire Waste Disposal Project. Whitespace chosen by Oxford City Council for trade and commercial collections, environmental, abandoned vehicles, streetscene and trees management Projects. |
2010 |
Whitespace makes significant inroads into the London Boroughs by winning major contracts with Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham and London Borough of Hackney. Power Suite Optimisation Module launched. Whitespace chosen by Conwy Council for commercial and domestic collections and disposal projects. |
