Contract Management
Power Suite - Modeller is another element of the Disposal Solution available from Whitespace. This module has been designed to:
- Manage the PFI contract management payments for Waste Disposal
- Replace Excel spreadsheets for calculation of payments
- Provide output of detailed reporting
- Provide full audit capability
- Drive total accuracy through the PFI reporting and payments process
The Power Suite Modeller ensures the accuracy and reliability of the waste figures and revenues against a Payment Mechanism, as typically required for larger waste disposal PFI contracts. It also provides significant cost savings over employing internal auditors and administrators to oversee the analysis and validation of the required information within a high value PFI contract.
The Modeller takes the tonnage outputs from the Hub and together with data from other systems applies it all to the contractual payment mechanism. This then automatically calculates all of the payments and receipts due under against the Payment Mechanism, to ensure total accuracy and traceability.
The Modeller allows the contract revenue to be split automatically and apportioned to profit centres, allowing continuous modelling of the project profitability.
The Modeller also produces forecasts for future payments and receipts, which can be varied by applying different scenarios. This enables users to reliably calculate the impact of changes on the contract, including changes to tonnages, waste types, charges and new facilities.
